Um. No. As for me, my tastes are far more complex and varied.

Techno/Trance:
Darude
Daft Punk
TmX
Barcode Brothers
Teque
iXupi
Heatseeker
Chemical Brothers
DJ Artz
Fatboy Slim
Eiffel 65
And especially the Cyberia mix of the soundtrack to Serial Experiments Lain. Lain r00lz.

Funk:
James Brown. Unh! Good God!
Lalo Schifrin
Johnny Pate

Jazz:
Charles Earland
Bob James
Ultra-Lounge

I also enjoy Chinese traditional, Macedonian folk, German military marches, Greek pop, soundtracks, Star Trek things, etc. etc.

To that, allow me to add:

Blues Traveler, Cher, Collective Soul, Creed, Newsboys, Counting Crows (ditto on the Eiffel 65), any CD track from the Mechwarrior series of games, Jefferson Starship, Live, Quake 2, Red Alert, Pyjama Charm (English alternative rock/techno), Richard Marx, Vangelis, and finally any movie scores performed by Hans Zimmer; the themes from Gattaca and The Truman Show.

Whew.

I'm not surprised you don't know about them. Most of them are European or from the tracking scene (www.traxinspace.com) or just simply too multicultural for the average person.

Tracking... that reminds me, I should add some good trackers to that list.

Necros, Purple Motion, Sidewinder, Air0day, Damien Blonde, Mick Rippon, Lizardking of Triton, Vogue of Triton
Justin Flavin, Skavin, Nemesis, and Karsten Koch

Alas, the way the MP3 revolution kinda blitzed mod/s3m tracking and everything else way back when, most people would not recognize these artists.

German (mod) techno is probably the best, followed closely by Scandinavian artists.

Yeah tracking has become a very isolated thing. I'm surprised you know the scene Wyzak.

Heh, four or five years ago I was just like Vaaish.

James Horner, he did the Titanic soundtrack, among other things. The music's pretty good but a little repetitive. (Each track is a multicultural/style variation on Celine Dion's focuspiece song.)

If you really want funny music then you got to hear George Little (hard to find) or the renouned Stephen Lynch heres an excerpt

"When granfather dies, life will be strange, when grandfather dies my whole world will change, when grandfather dies, ill shout and ill yell,

... Cuz ill F*cking RICH AS #### !!!", so yah Grandfather die, dont keep me in suspense, oh grandfather Cough up that inheritance, . Oh grandfather dont hold on another day, I love you to death,... But I got bills to pay"
